InstantBook messaging terms and opt-in policy

InstantBook supports two SMS contexts: consumer-facing lead automation for service businesses using InstantBook, and separate account, onboarding, support, and scheduling texts for InstantBook users who directly opt in to those messages.

How contacts opt in

  • A consumer submits a service inquiry to a business using an InstantBook-powered form and optionally checks the SMS consent box before submitting.
  • A consumer agrees to receive text messages from the business they contacted about lead follow-up, qualification, scheduling, booking, or service-related updates.
  • An InstantBook user can separately opt into account, onboarding, support, scheduling, or service-related text messages from InstantBook itself.

Types of messages sent

  • Lead acknowledgment after a person submits a service inquiry through an InstantBook-powered business form.
  • Qualification, missed-call recovery, scheduling coordination, booking handoff, and service-related updates from the business the consumer contacted.
  • Separate account, onboarding, support, scheduling, and service-related messages for InstantBook users who directly opt into InstantBook support messaging.
